Veteran's ID Card
Honorably discharged veterans residing in Salem County may apply for a Veteran's Identification Card.
These cards can be used as identification for Veteran's Discounts. Click here to see a list of vendors that offer discounts. Any Veteran wishing to apply for a card may apply in person at the County Clerk's Office between 9:00am - 3:00pm Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays). There is no charge for this service.
Veteran Identification Card Requirements
If a Veteran HAS NOT previously filed a DD214 with this office, the requirements to obtain an identification card are as follows:
- An original or certified copy of the Veteran's discharge papers (DD214); Click here to request a certified copy.
- Proof of address in Salem County (i.e. driver's license, utility bill, tax bill).
Veteran's Vending License
Honorably discharged Veterans residing in Salem County may apply for a Veteran's Vending License. You must apply in person at our office; present your DD-214 discharge papers and proof of Salem County residency. There is no charge for this service.
