NJSBA has posted its updated 2017 November Election Candidate Kit on the NJSBA website, at www.njsba.org/candidacy. About 90 percent of the state’s school boards will hold elections on the General Election date, Nov. 8, 2016. The deadline for candidates to submit their nominating petition is 4 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017. New this year, the Candidate Kit includes an NJSBA-produced video “Consider Serving on Your Local School Board!” in which board members discuss their role.
