Veterans’ Identification Cards are Available

The Salem County Clerk’s Office continues issuing Veterans’ Identification Cards. These cards can be used as identification for discounts at local businesses. Click here to see a list of vendors that offer discounts. Any veteran wishing to apply for a card may apply in person at the County Clerk’s Office between 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays).

Veteran Identification Card Requirements

If a veteran HAS NOT previously filed a DD214 with this office, the requirements to obtain an identification card are as follows:

  • An original or certified copy of the veteran’s discharge papers (DD214); Click here to request a certified copy.
  • Proof of address in Salem County (i.e. driver’s license, utility bill, tax bill).
