Please be aware that Mortgage related documents such as: Cancellations, Discharges, Releases and Assignments are not included on this web site. These documents can be researched and copies obtained by visiting our Office and Record Room in Salem.
The data currently included on this web site will permit you to locate documents, which are recorded in the Salem County Clerk’s office, by Document Type and Name within a specific time period. You, as a user, can view any document that has been published on the web. You may view the document by clicking on the underscore on the Instrument/Docket Number next to the name result. However, you will need to have installed Adobe Reader to print a published document.
You may obtain certified copies of documents by visiting our office in Salem. As always, you are invited to visit our office and Record Room, where copies of all land transactions within the County are located, dating from 1748 to the present. Our staff looks forward to assisting you.
